Arthur L Coppedge

Arthur L. Coppedge was active/lived in New York / Jamaica.  Arthur Coppedge is known for urban scene, landscape, portrait and still-life painting.

He was a respected member of the New York art community. He taught at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and Jamaican Arts School in Kingston, Jamaica.He was primarily admired for his oil painting of urban life in New York City. Jamaican landscapes, portraits and still life. 



In 2006, he was featured in Cynthia Dantzic's book 100 New York Painters. He is also listed in Davenport's Gold Edition. He was published as part of the Bicentennial in the book, America 1976, from the Department of Interior and New York Times/Viking Press.
